Education In Action
Through our Mama Glow Doula Professional training programs we serve a global community of birth workers, providing stellar foundational and advanced training for birth workers to support expectant and new families.
Provide scholarships for BIPOC & LGBTQ+ birth workers who intend to serve in and for their communities
Through our partnership with Ladies of Hope Ministries we provide Doula education for formerly incarcerated folks who intend to serve as birth workers alongside those impacted by incarceration.
Through our Love Delivered Doula Program in partnership with Carol’s Daughter, we provide financial assistance and birth team support for underserved and underestimated BIPOC & LGBTQ+ families so they have the tools they need to navigate the birth process.
Partner with midwifery education programs to provide scholarships to BIPOC & LGBTQ+ midwives.
Consult educational health care institutions – particularly, teaching hospitals in developing anti-racism strategies and implicit bias training and curriculum.
Host the annual The Continuum Conference which platforms the experience of the reproductive continuum and centers around reproductive justice at its core.
Advocacy In Action
Bridging policy gaps and working towards safety and humanity in the birth process for all people and while addressing the needs of Black birthing people. Empowering community advocates to use their voices to make impact. Supporting community based organizations on the ground and propping up policy change that centers reproductive justice.
Collaboration with local service providers, state policy makers and national legislators. Helping to shape the narrative around maternal health is critical to just and equitable provision.
Endorsement of the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act.
Hosting covenings and webinars to advance conversations that impact birthing people on the margins.
Creating more equitable access to doula support.
Increasing awareness and improving access to midwives.
Supporting the development of midwife led local birth centers.
The Arts In Action
We believe that the arts create a visceral experience of storytelling. Creatives are among our most powerful allies in advancing messages rooted in social change and educating the masses. We uplift the arts as a weapon to fight against reproductive inequities.
